Highlights
Four accepted papers at STOC 2024&25:
– No distributed quantum advantage for approximate graph coloring, Distributed Quantum Advantage for Local Problems, Online Locality Meets Distributed Quantum Computing. These papers are collaborations wih the teams of Jukka Suomela (Aalto University), François le Gall (Nagoya University) and Sebastian Brandt (CISPA Saarbruecken). They focus on the LOCAL model of distributed computing.
– Nonlocality under Computational Assumptions. In this paper, we introduce computational assumptions to reformulate foundational quantum information questions considered by quantum physicists, such as the relations between entanglement and nonlocality.
My paper Quantum theory based on real numbers can be experimentally falsified, joint work with David Trillo, Mirjam Weilenmann, Thinh P. Le, Armin Tavakoli, Nicolas Gisin, Antonio Acín and Miguel Navascués, was awarded the 2022 Paul Ehrenfest Best Paper Award For Quantum Foundations ! See Mirjam talk. It was also a QIP 2022 plenary talk.
